Ela \u00e9 utilizada para medir e determinar a resist\u00eancia ao impacto de produtos ou embalagens, e para avaliar a confiabilidade funcional e a integridade estrutural dos produtos sob condi\u00e7\u00f5es de impacto. Pode realizar testes de impacto convencionais com ondas senoidais, ondas dente de serra p\u00f3s-pico, ondas trapezoidais (ondas quadradas) e outras formas de onda.
